Project 365 - week 19

5.13.2014

A day late and a dollar short! My Tuesday got away from me- between a cake smash in the morning, and turning into a redhead in the afternoon, I all but lost track of time yesterday. So here is this past week in photos.

This was our first time visiting the coffee shop underneath our apartment complex and the kids were overjoyed. Real, non-diluted juice and complimentary cookies? (I had an amazing caramel macchiato that Sam may or may not have had a few giant gulps out of..) Molly loved the experience so much that she ran running straight into the owner's arms and gave her a big hug. Perfect afternoon playground fuel.

One year anniversary of Steve coming home from Afghanistan. So many things have changed since then, but messy kitchens and loving him certainly haven't.

The moment I realized that this summer might be a problem- when we were playing outside in 75* weather and we were all sweating and complaining about the heat. Uh oh.

Hanging out at my favorite place and I'm convinced that no bad pictures can be taken here at sunset.

My Mother's Day card. Homemade is my favorite.

My trusty model, trying to help me decide jf spending 3/4 of naptime to cut and glue construction paper grass together is worth it or not for a cake smash the next day. (Don't all the big shot photographers make their own backdrops out of their kids' art supplies?)

I think it was worth it.

  4. Looks like a lovely week!

Bummer about the heat though… I might die there with the humidity. Ugh!

Now, I am on the hunt for a sunset hangout!! Getting out after dinner is one of my new goals. Thanks again, for the inspiration!
